A graduate of Louisiana State and Loyola Universities, Mrs. Piattoly has perfomed in numerous operas, including Puccini's "La Boheme" and “Tosca”, Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro" and “Die Zauberflöte”, Verdi's "La Traviata", Offenbach's "Les Contes d'Hoffmann", and Britten's "A Midsummer night's dream". Her favorite roles include the Grandmother in Barab’s “Little Red Riding Hood”, Petra in Weill’s “A Little night music”, the Sorceress in “Dido and Aeneas”, and the Mother and Witch in Humperdinck’s “Hansel and Gretel”
A frequent concert soloist, Mrs. Piattoly’s credits include performances of Durufle’s “Requiem”, Haydn’s “Mass in C”, and "Mass in Time of War", performing the mass several times, including a performance at the world renowned Brucknerhaus in Linz, Austria.
